Please join us at Vehe for a tree planting to commemorate Arbor Day in Deer Park on Friday, April 25th at 10am.
We will have Shumard Oak saplings available for the first 50 residents to stop by the Village Hall on Friday, April 25th. The Shumard Oak is one of the most resilient trees you can plant in your yard. This tree can withstand floods, droughts and extremely strong winds. You'll never need to worry about how the Shumard Oak will hold up in inclement weather.
**Don't forget about planting a tree in celebration of your family or to memorialize a loved one. Trees are available at a 50/50 split with the Village. Staff will work with residents to assist with tree selections as well as park location. Download order form or call for more information.
