Our Engineer checked with IDOT since it is their jurisdiction. The project is shut down at the moment due to a lack of aggregate materials. The main aggregate producers in our area are shut down due to a labor strike.
The general project scope was to complete full depth patching in selected areas, a 3 ¾” mill and overlay for the entire roadway from Rue Touraine to Ela Road, and new striping. They completed the full depth patching and have not started the mill and overlay due to the aggregate shortage. This is why the road is in its current state.
