TUESDAY, MARCH 22ND AT 7PM IN THE VEHE BARN
The Village of Deer Park contains nearly 70 ponds most of which are privately owned and maintained. Not only do our ponds contribute to the natural landscape of the Village, they are a major component of Stormwater conveyance and management. Property maintenance of stormwater ponds is critical to ensure their safety, effectiveness and longevity and avoid serious problems like flooding and increased pollutants.
We have been asked by a number of residents that live near our ponds to conduct a meeting in which aquatic specialists and our Village Engineer can identify and address methods of treating and maintaining our ponds.
We invite you to join us on Tuesday, March 22nd at 7pm in Vehe Barn for this informative meeting.
