The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is NOW accepting applications for the semi-annual Citizens Police Academy. The academy is scheduled for Thursday evenings (6:30 - 9:30) from March 8 to May 17, 2018.
Class locations vary including Libertyville, Waukegan and Russell. The course is free to Lake County residents, and is offered to provide insight into the Lake County Sheriff’s Office including the judicial process. Participants must be 21 years of age or older, of good moral character and have no felony convictions. Applications available at 25 S Martin Luther King Jr Avenue in Waukegan or online at www.lakecountyil.gov/sheriff
