Floodproofing Expo and Workshop!
On July 12, 2017 Lake County, IL experienced record flooding resulting in flood damages to many homes. Stormwater Management Commission is hosting a Floodproofing Expo and Workshop for homeowners and property owners across 52 municipalities in Lake County where you can learn about various products, services, and solutions to minimize flood damages to your homes and properties.
The expo portion of this event will be an opportunity for you to explore exhibitor tables for companies, vendors, and other resources. In addition, there will be presentations upstairs every hour where you can hear experts speak and ask any questions you might have. Both portions are free to the public.
