It has always been our goal to create and maintain our Village Parks so they become a destination for our friends and families to gather and enjoy the outdoors. In response to our recent resident surveys and community interaction the Village is delighted to announce the Spring renovation of Deerpath Park (located at Deerpath & Corners).
For the past 18 months the Village began budgeting and designing the renovation of Deerpath Park and now that the warmer weather is upon us we have begun Phase 1, to remove all the invasive bushes and dead or declining trees. Phase 2 will begin with the Park grounds being inspected and leveled for water drainage. Then Phase 3, the installation of playground.
So…please excuse the noise and congestion at the park for the next couple of months!
Once the Park project is completed our residents will enjoy:
- New Plantings - 10 new Trees
- 3 distinct playground equipment “pods” for all age categories to enjoy
- A new shade umbrella in the circular seating area
- 2 new park benches
- A gravel apron along Corners, for short term parking
In early Summer, to celebrate the renovation of Deerpath Park, the Village will be planning a Rededication Family Event. More details to follow once construction is completed.
