There is a temporary ban on open burning until the stay at home order is lifted.

This action is to assist any residents who have health issues and to prevent putting an additional strain on our fire department resources if the open burning gets out of control. Fire Protection Districts in Lake County have taken similar steps and have received positive feedback from their residents.
