BACOG is hosting a Private Well Water Testing Event on September 5, 2018.
Residents of Deer Park can purchase test kits at the Village Hall between August 27th and August 31st 8-4pm for a reduced price of $12.00. Water kits can then be dropped off September 5th at The Garlands of Barrington, 1000 Garlands Lane, Barrington between 1pm-7pm. Presentations on related topics and Q&A sessions will run throughout the duration of the event.
Test results will be e-mailed to homeowners within two weeks. Any homeowners with positive results for bacteria or elevated nitrate leves will be contacted within 48 hours by the Lake County Health Department.
