The village would like to notify all residents to be aware of telephone and door to door scams that are targeting Deer Park neighborhoods. They sometime pretend to be checking water systems in the house, soliciting home improvement jobs or claim that you have won money.
Do not be fooled by anyone masquerading to be a business or agency like this. As the weather gets warmer be vigilant against these types of activities. Do not provide any information to them and please call 911 to report all suspicious activity immediately.
